Company

History

Our company’s roots go back to the 1970s, when the pioneers of that era were shaping the industry. Significant brick chimneys are now protected landmarks in urban planning, serving as reminders of our industrial heritage. At that time, occupational safety was an unknown concept, but the workers were true craftsmen. We have inherited traditional working methods and repair procedures from the pioneers of the industry, and today, safety is also a fundamental aspect of our working practices.

Safe operations in challenging locations require precision and specialized skills. Therefore, we place a strong emphasis on occupational safety in various ways today: through safe tools and working methods, as well as new repair techniques and materials.

Our current company structure began operations in 1997, with our headquarters located in Vantaa. We operate throughout Finland and also in Germany and the Baltics.

Occupational Safety and Development

Alongside the quality of our work, high occupational safety is one of our company’s top priorities. Our clients, industrial companies, also appreciate this. Our fundamental principle regarding safety is to ensure that not even near-miss incidents occur.

We invest significantly in occupational safety each year through personal training, updates to safety guidelines, and maintenance of personal protective equipment. We also offer safety training and consulting services.

Our practices are environmentally friendly, and we recycle all possible materials.

Our operations are transparent, and we regard inspections by authorities as very important.

Development work is ongoing in our company, focusing on working methods, safety, and new repair techniques and materials.

The company has many innovations, including a sprayable special mass that withstands temperatures of over +1,000 degrees Celsius and a facade element designed to endure heavy stress while imitating various materials. Both are unique in the market.

With the development of our equipment, we collaborate extensively with various suppliers in Central Europe.

We regularly try out and test different options. Thanks to new equipment and tools, we can also operate in winter conditions. We modify our equipment for specific projects, as commercial markets often do not provide machines that offer the necessary efficiency and safety.

We are developing new solutions to protect various materials from strong acids and chemical stresses.

The traditional method of increasing the height of a chimney is always challenging to implement on a tall chimney. We have developed a unique method for raising brick chimneys.

The bricks are laid in a conical shape according to the original dimensions of the chimney. With the technique we have developed, most of the work can be done off-site using pre-fabricated masonry units, allowing the work area to be used solely for installation. The assembled units are lifted and placed one by one on top of the chimney, resulting in a finish that looks like the original.

We manufacture bricks in various sizes that match the original dimensions of decommissioned chimneys.

Our development work also includes producing green energy in chimneys by installing turbines to generate our own green electricity for the property’s needs. Unlike wind turbines, the turbines placed inside the chimney do not produce noise or sound disturbances.
